I wanted to create a set of transparent glass-like vases to hold flowers. This set includes: a watering can, a bouquet vase, and a rectangular vase. An extra cylinder vase can be removed from the bouquet vase and used separately. All the vases have accents of silver to give a modern minimalist look and feel.

The Watering Can features a functioning spout. The transparent light blue round plates of “water” can be sprinkled out of the watering can. The spout attaches onto the vase by hinges and rests on sloped pieces to attain an angled position. The watering can also doubles as a vase and can hold a bunch of shorter flowers.

The Bouquet Vase has a classic rounded bottom and a narrow opening. The bouquet vase is simple but elegant. It can be used to display flowers and it looks great in any room on a table or mantle. It can hold a small bouquet.

The bouquet vase contains an internal cylinder to give it a double-glass look. The cylinder has three height options so that it can hold short, medium or long flowers depending where the platform is built. It can be removed to create a separate cylinder vase. The top of the bouquet vase can be removed to insert water pieces into the vase. It uses a reverse building technique to connect the top and bottom of the vase together with technic pins.

The Cylinder Vase when removed from the Bouquet Vase, can be built to three height options: 8 bricks (3 inches or 7.68cm), 14 1/3 bricks (5.42 inches or 13.76cm), and 20 2/3 bricks (7.81 inches or 19.84cm).

The Rectangular Vase holds a large bouquet of flowers with ample space to arrange them. One interesting feature of this vase is the layer of bricks with axle holes inside the bottom of the vase. This allows the flower stems (axles) to be inserted into the bottom of the bricks to help the flowers stand up straight in the vase.

The set also includes water pieces, axles and connectors to extend the length of flowers so that they can be arranged beautifully in a taller vase.
