Hello supporters of "Olympique de Marseille", people of Marseille, football fans or simple architecture lovers.
This model is a LEGO reproduction of the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille. This stadium is a symbol of the city around the world. It represents the passion, the pride and sense of community of the people of Marseille.
Olympique de Marseille played the biggest matches of French football on its pitch. Such as the Champions League victory in 1993 that brought the club into legend.
I built this model ,being an OM supporter and a LEGO fan since I was a child. I tried to reproduce in detail the beauty of this construction and what makes it one of the icons of modern architecture.
Its cantilever roof and varied angles have made it a difficult model to reproduce. After months of research and testing, I think the game was worth it.
With your support, this model could be part of the mythical stadiums marketed by LEGO such as Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Old Trafford in Manchester or the Camp Nou in Barcelona.
This model could be very interesting for fans of technology, architecture and football.
