Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon

Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon is one of the most iconic albums of all time, not only for the beautiful music it is made of (how can't we love a wonderful piece of music like The Great Gig In The Sky, or shake our foots to Money, or... well, every song of this album has something to say in the most beautiful way) but also for an immediately recognizable cover art.

This model is my attempt to pay homage to the creative genius of Storm Thorgerson and Hipgnosis, who created the original cover sleeve with a very simple but extremely effective image of a ray of light refracted by a prism and originating a full rainbow of colours: so elegant!

In my build I've put the prism on top of a turntable, as I really think that this album is a perfect balance of musical and visual arts: isn't the rainbow a metaphor for of the musical nuances you can find in the songs?

I really hope you like my model and support it: thank you very much!!! :-)
