Based on Baz Luhrmann's movie The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan, this set represents the famous yellow Duesenberg car from 1929 drove by Jay Gatsby.
Written in 1925 by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby tells the story of an extravagant and mysterious millionaire, Jay Gatsby, and his love for Daisy Buchanan, story narrated by Nick Carraway, cousin of Daisy and friend of Gatsby.
The interpretation of this story by Baz Luhrmann gives a moving movie, showing the New York of the roaring twenties, with its jazz music, its flamboyant fashion and aesthetic.
This set includes the 6inches long car and a Gatsby minifigure, wearing his iconic pink suit.
