Modern Tavern in the Castle

Medieval Castle and Modular Building Series are my two favorite LEGO themes - so I thought, why not combining them into one build.

Modern Tavern in the Castle is a medieval themed modern tavern that is housed within a real medieval castle which has undergone refurbishment. It is build on 32 x 32 base plate, and is designed to fit within any modular building series city.

Patrons can enter into the first level either through the castle main wooden gate, or through the alfresco dining area on the side. The original castle main hall has been renovated into a medieval theme dining hall, where patrons can dine and enjoy beverage served from the main hall tavern, while at the same time enjoying historical theater performance on the main stage. Performers dress in medieval costumes representing various houses and factions reenact key historical events on stage.

A two story wooden building has been refurbished and rebuilt on the second level of the stone castle, which houses the tavern's kitchen and storage area. Guided tours are also offered to patrons, who are welcome to ascent the two medieval stone towers or the balcony garden area.

Minifigure wise, we have two waiters and a tour guide who dress as knights; a full time performer who often dresses as a mage; and a patron who is enjoying a good time!

I thought this would make a great LEGO set - as castle lover will be able to integrate medieval theme building with other modern modular buildings. Hope you will like this idea. Thank you for your support!
