Short Circuit is a science fiction comedy film from 1986. The film is about a robot that is struck by lightning and gains human-like intelligence. The robot is named 'Number 5' and later in the film renames himself to Johnny (Johnny 5 is alive). A sequel, Short Circuit 2, was released in 1988.
I built this model because I love nostalgia, like many other adult LEGO fans. This project is 1,800 pieces and includes a minifigure of the NOVA Laboratory robotics expert, Ben Jabituya. I believe this would make a great set that many nostalgic adults would want on their wall.
