I wanted to design a small lego truck that not only looks good but also performs good and I feel like I have done that with the Baja Champion. This truck has 2 spring shocks attached to 2 swing arms. There is one swing arm for the front and one swing arm for the back and at the end of each swing arm is an axle assembly that pivots from one point. The pivoting axels gives the effect that the truck has independent suspension dispite its small size. The pivoting axles center the body with rubber bands wrapped around the axle and swing arm. I designed this truck to be jumped and that's exactly what I did. after many test runs and design changes, this truck is capable of withstanding impacts that can actually break lego pieces. And with that strength, this truck would be a great toy for all ages.
