Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
No, he's not your father, but he could be your next LEGO set!
If you want LEGO Ideas to make Darth Vader into an official LEGO set, click the blue support button at the top right-hand corner of the page to vote! It's free to support and create a LEGO ID. You are NOT required to purchase this if it passes the LEGO review.

Details:
- Darth Vader portrait sculpture is about 4 1/2 inches (11.43 cm) tall
- Part count is 338 pieces
I built this model as a challenge to myself to recreate the helmet of one of the most feared villians in movie history. I think this would make for a challenging LEGO set that a Star Wars fan could display without taking up too much space. My prototype only needs 338 pieces to build so it would also be very cost effective to produce and purchase.
I originally built this as a chibi brick-built character for my wife to display, but then refined the design to be a portrait sculpture.
