A balance scales is a device used to compare masses. We place the goods to be weighed on one pan, weights on the other. Turtles' heads indicate whether the masses are equal.
In the presented set weights have a weight of 5 grams each. We can therefore determine the weight of goods weighed with an accuracy of 5 grams. The instrument can also be used to compare the masses of various items.
The weight mechanism built from Lego Technic operates on the principle of leverage. It can be easily separated from the housing (decorative panels), to create your own designs.
