I proudly present to you this 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, equipped with a Plymouth 383 engine with a 4 speed.
One of the most recognisable B bodies that Chrysler had back then. I've always been a fan of these classic muscle cars, so it was obvious for me to recreate this car in lego. I built it in a large 1:10 scale, because the whole model is sharpened on the details. That is also the reason I think it would be a great set, because it's quite the opposite of the Technic supercar line. For example the supercars have much more functioning parts in them, but they cannot be as realistic because the technic pieces have holes in them, and more difficult to recreate more curved lines, or only with parts especially designed for the set.
Functions:
- Openable hood, doors, and trunk
- The license plate folds down to get access to the gas cap
- Working rear, and front suspension
- Moving "belt"
- Working steering
- Optional wing
Lenght: 57.1 cm ( 71.5 studs)
