Railway Crossing With Power Function - Sliding Gates [Studio]

Here is a small cozy environment around a Nordic railway crossing with a guardhouse with inspiration from Denmark and France. The guard house hides the engineering of the railway crossing with motor with gear, remote control receiver and battery box.

The guard's house also has a hatch at the back. The guardian has a neighbor who is a coastal painter and a curious cat. Once in a while the painter comes by. The guard's daughter is playing in the garden under the apple tree.

It is easy to switch on the Power function by removing the roof of the guard house and pressing the green button on the battery box. The guardhouse's roof can also be lifted off when the batteries need to be changed and it can also be split in two, it is assembled using Technic pins. One side of the guard house can be opened. And there is a fully furnished living room and kitchen. The set consists of 1662 elements including two dogs, one of which has puppies, some chickens and a cat.

The guard decorates the pine tree with electric lights in the winter and has a nice lot of apples on the apple tree in his garden. The guard and his daughter have hung several nest boxes on both the apple tree and on the gable of the house.

Once in a while a railway enthusiast comes by as there is a very exciting environment here.

Construction details

Special construction technical details include the special hidden mechanism which controls both 'booms' at once using only one motor. 2 worm drives are inserted between the motor and the gates to make the movement slow. An electric light is connected to the second channel of the Power function receiver.

The railway crossing is designed to fit Lego City Road Plates.
