The Far Eastern Landmark Series

These are architectures of the three far eastern coutnrys(China, Korea, Japan). These three creations have nearly the same size, and made in modular style. Each archtecture is a castle gate or a donjon of country's main landmark.

 

Jiayuguan (嘉峪关; Jiāyùguān), a Chinese Castle Gate

Jiayuguan is known as the mouth of China because of its position at the end of the Great Wall of China where it guarded the western boundary of Ming Dynasty China.

 

Sungnyemun(or Namdaemun)(崇禮門 / 南大門), a Korean Castle Gate

Sungnyemun is one of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, South Korea, which surrounded the city in the Joseon dynasty.

 

Donjon(Tenshukaku, 天守閣) of Osaka Castle(大坂城 or 大阪城, Ōsaka-jō)

Osaka Castle is a Japanese castle in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
