Insects: A Collection

Look closely and there you will find a whole other world of creatures! Behold three of millions of insects!

The Monarch Butterfly
The monarch butterfly or simply monarch (Danaus plexippus) is a milkweed butterfly (subfamily Danainae) in the family Nymphalidae. Other common names depending on region include milkweed, common tiger, wanderer, and black veined brown. It may be the most familiar North American butterfly, and is considered an iconic pollinator species. Its wings feature an easily recognizable black, orange, and white pattern, with a wingspan of 8.9–10.2 cm (3 1/2–4 in)*. A Müllerian mimic, the viceroy butterfly is similar in color and pattern, but is markedly smaller and has an extra black stripe across each hindwing.

The Praying Mantis
Mantises are an order (Mantodea) of insects that contains over 2,400 species in about 430 genera in 15 families. The largest family is the Mantidae ("mantids"). Mantises are distributed worldwide in temperate and tropical habitats. They have triangular heads with bulging eyes supported on flexible necks. Their elongated bodies may or may not have wings, but all Mantodea have forelegs that are greatly enlarged and adapted for catching and gripping prey; their upright posture, while remaining stationary with forearms folded, has led to the common name praying mantis.

The Stag Beetle
Stag beetles are a group of about 1,200 species of beetles in the family Lucanidae, presently classified in four subfamilies. Some species grow to over 12 cm (4.7 in), but most are about 5 cm (2.0 in).**

The Specs
Each insect comes with a collectable stand to give it some nature-like scenery.
I am not going to say how many pieces are in this Idea because if there is a chance for this to become a real set, chances are the amount will change.
I am not sure if you would typically play with these builds but I think it could be a great desk toy or
decoration for a nature or insect lover.
I know that some of the pieces on this build have never been made in these colors before but I bet Lego could find a way around that. ;)
All graphics were done on Photoshop.
Digital building was done on LDD, Bricklink's Studio 2.0 and rendered on POV-Ray.
I would really appreciate it if you supported this, shared it to everyone and help make this an official set.
It is one of my many dreams to create an Idea with 10,000 supporters. I thank you all for your help and I hope you all stay safe and healthy!

* These builds are not up to scale with the real sizes of the insects.
** This stag beetle is a common look for most stag beetles.
