This is a LEGO GBC (Great ball contraption) that is based off the game Portal. The balls are loaded into the contraption and are rolled one at a time into a portal on the floor. At the exact same time the ball comes out from the portal on the ceiling. It uses Mindstorms and has way too many pieces; yet here it is on LEGO Ideas for your enjoyment.
