Hawaiian Island Display Map

Give a warm Aloha to the set concept: Hawaiian Island Display Mural! Featuring the main eight
Hawaiian Islands as well as several other small builds, this set is a beautiful representation of the
most pristine and natural US state.

This past holiday season, I had the privilege of visiting Hawaii for the first time. My family and I
had so much fun on the beaches and forests of Maui, and I was inspired to craft a LEGO concept
based on my experiences there.

This would make a great LEGO set as map sets have been very popular with consumers in the
past (most notably, World Map and The Globe). Hawaii is also an iconic and popular
international tourist destination, which could also appeal to consumers who have visited the
islands or want to visit.

Features:
● 888 pieces
● 20.8x29.9 inches (52.8x76 centimeters)
● The eight islands of Hawaii recreated at a micro-scale.
● Main builds: A Yellow Hibiscus (the state flower of Hawaii), a compass rose (to fit with
the nautical theme), and the state flag of Hawaii (there are also several extremely
prominent unofficial flags, which can be added in later to swap the flags).
● Map builds: A volcano for the Big Island (inspired by Puu Oo at Kilauea), a tribute to the
Maui firefighters through the 808 plate, Iolani Palace on Oahu (the home of the last Queen of Hawaii), and Secret Falls in Kauai. These builds can be removed at the discretion of the consumer if they feel that they clutter up the build too much.
  • Additionally, there are several plates with arrows displaying the name of each Hawaiian island. Just like the Map builds, the consumer can choose to leave these on or take these off if they're to distracting to the main map.
