The Inspiration
This project is a tribute to one of the most famous adventure games series of all time.
I'm obviously talking about Monkey Island. The first chapter was created in 1990, and the last and final chapter has recently been announced. 32 years of history for an incredible adventure game!
I thought it would be nice to consecrate this saga with a LEGO set.
For this project I was inspired by the third chapter of the saga, "The Curse of Monkey Island", recreating the setting of Puerto Pollo, a town inhabited by pirates located on Plunder Island.

The Idea
I would have liked to reproduce the entire city of Puerto Pollo, but to limit the number of pieces I decided to reproduce only the buildings of the port, where there is the "barbery coast" and its crew of pirate barbers and accommodation for pirates.
The two buildings are separated by a staircase that, in the original setting of the video game, leads to the city center.
Since I didn't recreate the whole city, I still wanted to include the characteristic fountain of Puerto Pollo, which could not be missing from the project.
Do you know what is engraved on the fountain? Write it in the comments!

The set includes the minifigures of the protagonists: our hero Guybrush Threepwood, his girlfriend Elaine Marley (who in the third chapter of the saga is transformed into a golden statue by a curse),
the evil undead pirate LeChuck, the barbery coast pirate crew, and the funny talking skull Murray.

It would make a fantastic lego set, because in addition to paying homage to a video game that made history, it is a pirate village! With a barber shop! And so many chickens! 😁🐓

Please Support it to see chickens on the shelves!
