Campfire Under the Stars

Hello, fellow builders! Taking a little break from medieval builds, I made this campfire model. I had just got some new sets and wanted to use their pieces, especially the star pieces, and I think they fit well in this scene.

After a long, busy weak, Dustin had the great idea of taking his wife, Molly and his son, Troy, into the woods to enjoy the outdoors, and to get away from the stresses of life. Here they are sitting around the fire enjoying each other's company while roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate. Surrounding them are flourishing flowers, a couple of pines, an oak, hills in the distance, a lively pond, and of course the moon and star-lit sky overhead.

I would say that some of my favorite things to build were the hills in the backround, the night sky, the flowers, and the log with frogs on it. By the way, did you know that I used wand pieces for shooting stars? I thought that worked out pretty well!
I love sitting around a crackling fire with family talking with one another and sometimes, I just enjoy silently starring into the flames, lost in thought. Anyway, I hope you like the build and feel inspired to get outdoors!
