The Great Torii Gate of Miyajima

Hello everyone! This is my third LEGO IDEAS project and I'm very happy to share it with you!
It represents the world famous "Great Torii Gate" of Miyajima island in the Hiroshima prefecture in Japan. This torii gate is the iconic entrance of the Itsukushima shrine, a Shinto shrine included in the World Heritage Site list by Unesco in 1996.
A torii is a symbolic gateway marking the entrance to the sacred precincts of a Shinto shrine in Japan.
What is unique about this wooden fifty-foot tall vermillion gate is that it appears to be floating at high tide, which made it famous across the globe, and one of the symbols of Japan.
I decided to build it with lego bricks because I'm a big fan of Japanese culture and architecture.
The size and style of this model could fit nicely with the Lego Architecture sets line (it looks amazing next to the Statue of Liberty).
Hope you enjoy! Please support it if you wish to! :)
