Taylor Swift's Disk Collection: Eras Tour Edition

Taylor Swift has become an emblem in our modern culture, there's no doubt about that. One or two years ago, my sister began listening to all of her songs and they got stuck in my head. From that moment, in the middle of the night and in my dreams I used to hum her songs.

She is one of my favorite artists now and I really wanted to design something about her on Lego Ideas. I wasn't sure what to do, until I realised my sister had begun to collect her CDs. She told me that every swiftie wanted to have every one of them. So I decided that designing each one of her albums in Lego form would be cool like Snow on The Beach.

I couldn't shake this idea off my head so I started up this proyect and here I present the Taylor's version... I mean Lego's Version of her albums.

The complete model has around 1100 pieces.

One of the most representative things about her story is The Eras Tour because it sums up her whole career as a singer, going from Taylor Swift (the album) to The Tortured Poets Deparment. So I included the stage of her concert as a separate piece and also a Minifigure of her most recognisable costume.

Each one of the CDs is built out of 48 pieces that include a sticker to represent the Cover of the album. I should also talk about how I included an extra album called The Eras Tour which is meant to depict the recent tour... Now, why did I include it? Well, 11 is a weird number so I added one more to make it easier to build. Now that I think about it, perhaps I should have made another one since 13 is Taylor's favorite number...

I think Taylor Swift fans would love this idea, and I really wish it reaches 10k so that it can get made into an official Lego Set and it becomes people's favorite toy, but hey, don't break it if it becomes your favorite toy.
