9719 supporters in five days?

9719 supporters in only 5 days sounds like a new record to me. Can we do it ?!?!

Fun Facts

The robot has reached 200 supporters (with help from a staff pick (thank you staff ;-)) and to celebrate I've decided to share an incredible piece of information.

We all know that LEGO comes from the danish "Leg Godt" or "play well". But did you know the word "lego" has about 40 meanings in Latin? And "Wind up"happens to be one of them, wich, i think, is quite amazing and very lucky, from the robot's point of view. It also makes the Wind-up Robot an even greater LEGO set ("wink, wink"). Another meaning of "lego" is to assemble, wich leads me to think LEGO looked it up when they were coming up with the name.

If you don't believe me...feel free to check here. (you'll have to scroll for it a bit)

100 Supporters & New Photos

Well, it took longer then expected but finally 100 supporters!

I've got new, better photos of the grey robot. I thought the one I uploaded before was a bit, well, quick.

Please support and don't forget to share on blogs and forums and anywhere you can. Let me know if you like this new colour scheme (I like the original more) and give me suggestions on other colours if you'd like to see any. :)

Thank you, again.

My Other Project

I've uploaded a new project called "The Claw". It is a very cool thing that will come to very little use to anyone who buys it. Please check it out and support it.

Also, please keep sharing and spreading word of the Wind-up Robot to gather support.

New Video

I've created a new video that, I think, advertises this model better than the first one.

Check it out if you want to.

Please support if you haven't done so yet and share this project anywhere you know.

Thank you.

New Colour Scheme & Design

In reply to a suggestion about the colour, I have created a new robot with a new dark grey/light grey colour scheme. I have also designed new arms for the robot, a new control panel and one big antenna instead of the two small ones just to give you guys something to choose from.

I still like the original red/black colour more but I think the arms look great like this. Please support, share anywhere you can and give me more feedback, good or bad.

Thank you.

The Mechanism

I forgot to emphasize that the robot only uses LEGO parts, meaning the mechanism that makes it walk is 100% LEGO.

Thanks for the support I've got so far and keep 'em coming!
