Mage's Tower on a Floating Island

First, I want to thank all the Lego fans for their support. I never thought this project would get so much attention, especially... as it's my least polished Idea :P

Sad news is, my PC died and took my files with it, so I will have to reverse engineer this one to further work on it. But this gives me an opportunity to update it a bit here and there.

My plan is to focus more on the main theme of this Idea - floating islands. I'm planning to cut down the base section of the main building, living quarters, leaving magic shop intact. I still think I'll be able to fit adouble decker bed somewhere. Instead of this, I would expand the area by adding mutliple islands of various sizes, maybe with some small wooden structures on top of some.

Something like this. Using transparent pieces to hold island builds in place.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments how do you feel about this change, it is quite significant. I'm still not sure if I need to do such a drastic change, so your opinion will help me a lot. Should I leave it as it is or at least try to make the new version and see how it goes?
