Hello and thank you for viewing my submission!

What is this creation?
This is my escape from reality, my home away from home, this is my Art-Deco Winter Cabin Retreat. Built upon a high and sturdy platform, this "stilt" style cabin contains many modern amenities. Not only is the exterior made from an intricate pattern and design but the interior offers a much desired, and warm and toasty inhabitants. From a sliding glass door entry, to a quaint and fully modern kitchenette. A drop down lower level den living room area with wide screen TV, L-shape couch, and your cats favorite spot, the cat tree by the window. This cabin also offers a luxurious bathroom with shower. Heading upstairs you have the bedroom loft. Amazing skylight ceiling window and the pergola tipped roof exudes a nice scenic balcony to enjoy the view. Enjoy the mountain with the snow mobile, and make sure you keep the dual floor fireplace warm with fire wood under the stairs.

Features:
  • Open back design "doll house"
  • Intricate yet stable building techniques
  • Layered levels, medium height build
  • Fully dressed interior with exterior story telling

Why This Build?
This was a creation of mine to always envision a stilt house cabin style building. Going up to the mountains near me with family and friends, we would mostly stay in different style cabins. After a lot of passion with architecture and the way cabins are designed I dove head first into the world of home building. Art-Deco was always a style that struck me as bold and creative and I wanted to blend my passion of home design with my hobby of LEGO. The stilted feature was inspired by the river bed homes and sea side cabins in Florida. The winter and mountain style setting was heavily inspired by my childhood growing up in Utah.

A Future Set?
Not just the build being a fun and intricate one at that, but this LEGO IDEAS submission would make a great LEGO set sitting upon anyones LEGO display shelf. It also can easily be implemented into anybody’s custom LEGO city. This set is sure to make any LEGO fan happy with its intricacies and fun story telling, so yes, I can see this being a future set hopefully one day.

Gratitude and Thanks
Norton74 as without Andrea Lattanzio's A-Frame Cabin contribution I would not be here. Another big thanks to the LUGOLA group of Los Angeles for their continued support. Lastly my fans and community whom I am very close with.
