I've been playing (competetive) reversi (also known under the trademarked name othello) for over 20 years now, and finally decided to make a full-size playable board.. unfortunately I do not know how to make the discs smooth and yet flat, but using the antenna-trick they are at least symmetrical. any tips would be much appreciated!
One thing that I really wanted to have were the ridges that keep the discs in place, which is especially useful for young players. this kind of complicates the build (also making it more interesting!), but I think it is worth it.
I think it would be wonderful to spread the joy of this wonderful game to ever more people!
