This is my model of a train coal loading facility. In the past, Lego has produced a number of coal hopper wagons in its train series of models and crane facilities to load/unload its container wagons. This model replicates a facility that is required to complete the industrial side of a Lego train layout.
The model contains 604 pieces and is a relatively simple construction. The tunnel from the ground to the top of the hopper could be developed to add in a power functions enabled conveyor belt. A staircase is located on the side of the loading tower for the mini-figs workers to maintain the loading facility.
I am a new creator and appreciate any comments to improve my future models.
