Minas Tirith, City of Kings

Hello, it is Emperor Brick again, and I present you my new LEGO Ideas set Minas Tirith, the City of Kings.

 

WHAT IS IT?

Everyone who watched Lord of the Rings knows this legendary city, which is the capital of Gondor. The design features the city itself. The base is made from 16 plates connected with each other, so it creates a round shape. It has 3 layers and on the top the palace with the tower and garden. The symbol of the city is the white tree, which can be found in the high gardens. The city is well-supported in the inside and because of the shape it is a strong build (16 angles). I have chosen black background, so it is better visible.

WHY DID YOU BUILD IT?

The Lord of the Rings movies and books are my favorite of all time - the set is a tribute to those movies and Tolkien's middle-earth. I also built it because Minas Tirith is one of the most iconic buildings in middle-earth, but no set was built of it. Therefore, I decided to build it.

 

WHY SHOULD IT BE A SET?

As many LEGO Lord of the Rings, we wanted this set for a long time. And since the new Lord of the Rings series will be airing in September 2022, what better time to release this set.

I also think this set would sell great because the fan base of both LEGO and Lord of the Rings is huge. I think the little details I managed to put in the set and the shape, I have made it very accurate, and therefore it makes a beautiful display piece, as well as a playing piece.
