Welcome to my newest LEGO Ideas project, "The Roman Emperors Residence"!
A few weeks ago, I was sitting in the waiting room of my local barber, and I was thinking about what my next LEGO Ideas project could be. Since I am really interested in history, especially the ancient era, in my mind, I finally came across the ancient rome. Then, I started thinking about which buildings and minifigures I should include. In the end, I chose the minifigures of recent minifigure series and decided to build one larger building but include some small secondary buildings. How it turned out? Have a look yourself!
You can see an archway which is the guarded entrance to a larger open place, where a statue is located and a roman patrol is guarding the main building, the emperors residence. Inside, there is the emperor writing in a manuscript and a roman commander who is keeping watch. Additionally, an artist who was invited by the emperor is drawing him, but has just started.
In numbers, this build includes:
- 10 minifigures (the emperors, an artist, 8 legionnaires)
- approximately 2500 to 2600 pieces
- 3 different sections: an archway, a statue, and the emperors residence
This would make a great LEGO Ideas set because on the one hand, it is something children would enjoy playing with but on the other hand, it can impress as an exhibition piece as well.
Now all I have to do is say: Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your support. Feel free to leave a comment.
