Planet Express Headquarters

Good news everyone!

Futurama is back, and so is planet express headquarter!

This model is a UCS style version of the iconic building, made as faithfully as possible, based on many different shots from the show.

It has been made only for external look, as an exposition model, so there is no inside, but the hangar's roof can easily be removed to place a small spaceship.

Futurama has been one of my favorite shows and I have always wanted to create this building because of its unique colors and shapes. The renewal of the show last year gave it a fourth life, bringing old and new fans, and it made me decide to finally create it myself. I designed it using Stud.io, and later built it with real bricks to be sure about the stability, weight and look of the most complex parts, the cone and sphere.

I am very pleased with the result, so I decided to publish it here. I know there are a lot of fans of this fantastic cartoon who will be interested, and I know there are also people not familiar with the show who can be interested by the uniqueness of this architecture.

To celebrate the first 1000 supporters, I decided to upgrade the design in two places I was not completely happy with.

This new version features a brand new and cleaner cone with fewer gaps and fully reworked windows on the sphere, much closer to the real model!

I also decided to include the angry dome! I didn't want to include it at first, but so many people requested it so here it is, in all its glory!
