The Starspeeder 1000 featured in "Star Tours: The Adventures Continue" at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
While my base version only highlights the shape and exterior of the Starspeeder 1000, I envision a real LEGO set that features an interior with seats, an area for the captain, opening doors, and possibly a removable roof panel. The set could include minifigures like C-3PO, R2-D2, Star Tours robots, and passengers. If popular enough, it could spawn a number of sets that relate to the great theme park ride. Another possibility also could be a version of the Starspeeder 3000 which was featured in the original Star Tours ride. LEGO Star Wars has been making sets that are from the expanded universe and video games, so I believe that Star Tours sets would have a place in the Star Wars line.
I hope that this project can get enough support to become a real set!
