This is a fancy hot rod inspired by the Lego Technic Go-Kart set released in 1978. The Lego Go-Kart was the first Technic set I ever owned. I was 11 years old and that Lego set was a dream come true. I wanted to recreate its steering mechanism and create a car using the brick pieces that inspire me. Namely, those lovable rounded and curved pieces. It was fun to build and helped me relive some of the excitement I felt when I built that first Go-Kart back in 1978.
This car has a working steering wheel that turns the front wheels and a hood that can open to reveal the moving parts.
This would make a great set because it is sculptural and fun to build, has a working steering mechanism and has a unique one-of-a-kind look. This is a must-have for all those car lovers and collectors.
