This car was inspired the Lancia Stratos rally car and the Formula 1 cars
of the 1950’s. I made several attempts on the design before I finally settled
on this one. Working with a limited supply of LEGOs, I tried to capture the aesthetic
of a single seater race car. The car features large, curved air intakes on the
back, silver exhaust pipes, and front flood lights for driving in the dark. The
white stripe that runs down the middle and continues onto the front grill gives
it a more sporty look.
