Simple is good. Minimalist chess set basic size 16x16. I tried to create my first original chess design, considering the large number of similar sets. A set has two possible simple variations: with coordinates and without coordinates. I chose not to include part #87580 in the design for practical reasons – the base of the piece would get stuck in it and the piece would come apart. The pieces are easily identifiable and are highlighted by the contrast of the colors of the opposing pieces. I used available pieces, but some are not available in the color shown in the design. This chess set is the perfect gift for anyone who loves chess or LEGO. It is a stylish and educational addition, and it is also easy to assemble.
