I was inspired to make this iconic view of Churchill Downs racetrack for its beauty and for love of my hometown of Louisville, KY. There is no place more beautiful than my old Kentucky Home - the twin spires and home of the most exciting two minutes in sports, the Kentucky Derby. This particular perspective includes the twin spires, a section of the grandstand, horses and jockeys in their racing silks, and the bugler who has played the call to post.
