I love Microfighters, but unfortunately the only line of sets you can get them from is Star Wars.  So one day, I was looking at my Lego Quinjet and an idea popped into my head, why not make a Microfighter out of the Avengers?  So I went straight to work building a vehicle that is not as expensive but still equally fun.

The model has the shield logo on both of the wings and is armed with flick missles to combat Chitauri chariots.  It also has two glass cockpit elements.  One for the pilot’s seat and one for the passenger’s window.

The hardest part to make was definitely the Quinjet’s twin engines.  They don’t look exactly like they did on the real model, but I was going for kind of a retro-space style for them.  But I eventually figured it out.

The model has landing gear on the bottom and a small hatch on the back.  It also includes a Black Widow minifigure (this would be a good way to get Black Widow without spending $100).

Hopefully, with the help of some awesome Ideas members, this project will reach 10,000 supporters before the year is up.  Help out by telling friends about it on social media.  Wish me luck!
