This model is for decorating the top of your Christmas tree with bricks (to match the rest of your ornaments obviously). This star was designed and built for the annual, local, holiday in the park LEGO display. Since the highly popular, interactive portion of the event was cancelled this year it was decided that a six-foot-high Christmas tree be built out of green brick. In addition to many brick-built LEGO ornaments to decorate it, the tree needed something to top it off. This 6-point star is my contribution.
This would make an excellent set on its own because it is relatively simple to make (basic technic parts but possibly with some advanced connections) and it is fully customizable by the builder with 1x1 studs or tiles.
