Ikarus Buses From Poznań

The era of Ikarus 200 series in Poznań began in 1981. It was then that the first Ikarus 280.26 articulated buses hit the streets. Two years later, shorter, 11-meter Ikarus 260.04 buses were delivered. Over the years, MPK in Poznań operated fifty-five 11-metre Ikarus 260.04 and 266 articulated Ikarus 280.26.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Ikarus 260.04 buses, I prepared a photo session in Poznań. I took the Ikarus models to the square, which used to be the final stop of "Os. Orła Białego" for buses of the day line No. 74 and the night line No. 238. In the past, you could meet Ikarus buses on these lines.
