The leader of the world's angriest flock is now in LEGO BrickHeadz form! Meet BrickHeadz Red!

About Red
Red J. Bird was previously an outcast within the Bird Island community for a majority of his life due to his severe and uncontrollable life-long anger issues. However, when a band of green pigs invaded the island and stole the birds' eggs, Red helped the islanders retrieve their eggs by force and lead them to victory, earning the respect and love from the community that he'd waited for his whole life. While he now has a group of caring friends, Red still has an insecure, aloof attitude and often covers up his discomfort with sarcasm.

Model details
Despite having experience with BrickLink Studio, Red was my first time delving into the world of the BrickHeadz range. Luckily, due to his simple design, Red was very easy (and fun!) to make. It took an abundance of red and black bricks, plates, tiles and modified parts to build him, along with several redesigns that ultimately lead to a small-scale build that I'm very proud of. Red has zero clutch power / stability issues or cautions, and I even have a digital PDF instruction manual ready to go.

Inspiration and development
I created this BrickHeadz model from my belief that the Angry Birds universe would make a great fit for BrickHeadz. LEGO and Rovio (the latter being the creator of Angry Birds) have collaborated before, having produced six sets based on The Angry Birds Movie back in 2016.

I based Red's appearance around his movie design because not only is it the art style that Rovio uses the most nowadays, but it also fits perfectly with the rest of the BrickHeadz line. This is thanks to Movie Red having limbs and a slightly taller body shape.

Plans for the future
If this submission expires or is unapproved, I will most likely try again but instead grouped with other characters such as Chuck, Bomb and Terence. If that also fails, I have one last back-up idea I'd like to develop...
