Twister

One of the biggest box office hits of the 90's, Twister brought the art of tornado chasing to the big screen. Released in 1996, this film follows Bill and Dr. Jo Harding as well as their team of student researchers as they face the storm with their prototype data-gathering device dubbed "Dorothy."

My build depicts this movie in diorama form, including a functional tornado that can spin and chase the main characters in Bill's iconic red pickup truck. On the bed of this truck you'll find Dorothy, which can be removed and opened to reveal the sensors that are released into the twisters. Also included is a cow that can be attached to the tornado, depicting a classic scene from the film. Another detail is a small section of a corn field, a common sight in Oklahoma, being ravaged by the menacing twister.

This build includes 3 minifigures, Bill Harding, Dr. Jo Harding, and Dr. Melissa Reeves.
