"Eine Insel mit zwei Bergen…" or in English: "An island with two mountains…". This is how the story about Jim Knopf starts. The project shows this island including the train station, the castle of King Alfons the quarter to twelfth, the shop of Mrs. Waas, and, of course, the locomotive Emma.
The model is interesting because it is on a very small scale (only on a 16x16 base plate) and creatively uses angled elements. The water surrounding the island is also very cleverly made, ranging from shallow beaches to the deep sea.
