The Wicked Lair
An old, haunted house stands in an evil swamp, held up by a cursed tree where no bird ever rests. It seems to be the headquarters of an ancient order of witches.

This model is a spooky medieval/fantasy building featuring:
-A crooked three-storey building filled with broomsticks and potions.
-A creepy tree holding up a part of the house.
-A small pumpkin field with a scarecrow wearing a jack-o-lantern as a mask.

The roof is detachable and the three floors can be opened to inspect the interior. Pots, candles, vials, and cats can be found all over the place as the witches experiment with different concoction recipes and magic formulas.

Features
What's unique about this set is the architectural composition: rooms get bigger as you go up. That's generally unadvisable when building houses without magic, which is not the case here. Also, the black cursed tree helps the building stand upright. The pumpkins in the small field are protected by a malicious scarecrow.

The ground floor is the pantry, where magical substances (and the pots to cook them) are kept.
The first floor is the living room (assuming the occupants actually live). A fireplace can be found here as well as a small nook with a bed for witches to sleep on (every 50 years or so).
The third floor is the bedroom of the witch chief. A small chest is kept here to contain totally non-creepy things. And a human skull.

Why make this set
This set is ideal as a Halloween decoration but with a medieval twist. However, it can fit with any old or rustic-looking set. I think it is the perfect combination of medieval and Halloween aesthetics.
