Rework of 221B Baker Street

After building my model, I decided to modify several points on my design. I slightly decreased the height as it was quite tall, and I added several details on the exterior and in the rooms : I changed the color of the first floor to match the real building. The steps of the stairs now have a simpler construction and I added a more intricate handrail. I also added an ornemental frieze close to the ceiling. I designed new lamps for the first and second floor as well. The piano on the third floor is now gone, replaced by a victorian-style sofa. Outside, I added a fence like the ones in the real 221B. The exterior wall design has completely changed and is now more simple and better integrated to the structure. The 8 x 16 tiles with the canon of Sherlock Holmes are offset by one tile, adding depth to the build and allowing you to slide the set between books without damaging the print.
