Bonus round: Golden jellyfish
We reached 3000! Thank you all so much for your support. I did not expect this to gain so much traction. To celebrate, I built one more medium sized jellyfish:
Golden jellyfish (Mastigias papua cf. etpisoni): A subspecies of spotted jellyfish that is only found in Jellyfish Lake, Palau. Throughout the day they migrate through the waters of Jellyfish Lake, following the sun's arc. The sun's light is important for the golden jellyfish: just like the upside-down jellyfish it has symbiotic algea living in its tissue that provides the jellyfish with nutrients. The mass migration of golden jellyfish is important for the entire ecosystem of the lake. The movement mixes the water and churns up nutrients that feed many other small organisms.
