Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
This project is based on the Tintin Comics by Hergé.
Tintin has again become popular after the release of the movie "The Adventure of Tintin: Secrets of the Unicorn".
The writers and producers has mentioned in several interviews that they work on one or more sequels which makes it the perfect time to launch Tintin LEGO.
Our creations and ideas are based on the comics and not on the movie which is too narrow as basis for a Tintin LEGO series.
We have build three of the most well-known vehicles which would be obvious in a Tintin LEGO series:
- The yellow airplane from the album "The Crab with the Golden Claws"
- The shark shaped submarine from the album "Red Rackhams Treasure"
- The rocket from the albums "Destination Moon" and "Explorers on the Moon"
They are build mostely using standard LEGO bricks and we have tried to make it as accurate as we could but they all seem a little edgy and it's diffcult to get the rocket completely symmetric.
In a production version of this series more specialized bricks must be used.
And it would be really nice if the models could open up so it's possible to see the interior.
It's possible to create a lot of small packages based on the endless number of funny scenes found in the comic books.
Other larger Tintin LEGO packages might include:
- Captain Haddocks house "Marlinspike Hall"
- The 17th-century warship "The Unicorn"
- Captain Haddocks ship "Karaboudjan"
- Tank used on the moon
- Tintin and Chang in the Yeti-cave
- Model of "The Black Island"
