Wheel set up 2 x 3 = 6 Axles
In search of attractive locomotives, which I could
build from Lego elements, I came across the web on the so-called US diesel-electric
locomotives and finally I decided to use the EMD-SD90MAC.
The EMD-SD90MAC is equipped with a six-axle
chassis, which of course runs smoothly within the Lego model (in all turns and curves).
The model is executed in the supporting elements in
the six-pins/nep width.
In the Lego model two drive motors "Lego train
traction motors" are used, which are controlled by the Lego Power Function
Control System.
Furthermore, the model is equipped with LED's in
front and back.
The EMD-SD90MAC adapts perfectly to the Lego
railway system and is executed approximately in the scale 1: 40/45.
