Inspired by Pixar's animated movie, Inside Out, this set offers a variety of play features.

There are lot's of articles that mention using Inside Out in therapy, for children with ADHD, for neurodivergent children and also in autism. (https://www.oaktreecounselor.com/blog/inside-out-emotional-intelligence, https://www.goodtherapy.org/blog/what-pixars-inside-out-can-teach-us-about-..., and many more..)

Whit this set I want to offer a support for therapists, parents and teachers of neurodivergent children. With this set each child being verbal or even nonverbal can identify their emotions can express their self with the use of minifigures and can communicate easily. In addition there are mini-games which can be played during therapy, used in the process of occupational therapy, but also at home by parents.

BUT this set is not only for neurodivergent children it can be useful for every child the film's message that one event can bring up more than one emotion can be introduced into the therapy room by asking a child to write down or draw how Anger, Sadness, Fear and Joy feel about an event, such as an impending divorce, a death of a family member, or any other traumatic event, etc.. With the use of this set they can play out, interact with the minifigures and open up more easily.

It can also be played with for just the fun of the set.You can build 1 car, 1 train, 3 mini games, you have interchangeable builds, 5 minifigs with a total of 10 faces which you can combine and make up new minifigs like a sad Anger or maybe a disgusted Joy, this adds up to more than 30 possibilities to create minifigures.

Features:

-We have 5 minifigures inspired by the movie Inside Out depicting five emotions: Joy, Fear, Sadness, Anger and Disgust, each minifigure has a two sided head. For Joy you have a happy and an ecstatic face, for Fear you have scared and terror facial expressions, Sadness has her sad face and a face of sorrow, Disgust can become even more disgusted and Anger can be angry with a small flame and livid with a huge burning flame on his head.

-We have the main control panel, in the middle of which you can put up any minifigure you want, or that describes how you are feeling at the moment, and change it whenever you feel like it.

-Sadness's play corner consists of a handful of pieces from which you can either build a car to play with or an enlarged sadness figure. This corner with the help of the wheels and a door helps neurodivergent children in stimming activities whenever they feel overwhelmed and in need of a break.

-Disgust's corner is made up of a mini-game of memory. You can rotate the pieces to find the pairs hidden. Every tile can be replaced and hidden away beforehand so the child can play the memory game. There are two sets of 16 tiles each, one set with fruits and vegetables and the other set with objects. Areas like executive functioning skills, to working memory, attention, focus, to fine motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and even handwriting can be improved through the use of memory games. This game is often used in occupational therapy.

-Anger's corner is there for learning how to handle when something goes wrong and you can so angry you want to smash something. You can use his hammer and blow up the roof, send some pieces flying in the process. Every child needs to learn to control their anger and to focus it somewhere safe.

-After focusing your anger using Fear's corner you can count to ten, build up a tower for every number, take some deep long breath's and calm down in the process.

-We have a train inspired by the Train of thought from the movie Inside out, it has a platform on which you can place anything you want and it has a closed train wagon which is placed at Joy's corner. We know that every child loves trains.

-We will see what surprise is hidden in the Wagon at Joy's corner.
