Growing up with the wonderful comic strip by Bill Watterson I have always wanted a set of figures off the 2 characters Calvin and Hobbes. After 9 months of having fun building with Lego i thought that building these figures for my self as a christmas present would be a fun project.
The figures should be fully moveable so that my son could play with them and so that the figures could be placed in all the classic Calvin and Hobbes posses. This was a challanged, but the idea of combining old bricks as arms with bionicle bricks and ordinary bricks finaly brought the solution.
I decided that the set should include Calvin, Hobbes teddybear and Hobbes Tiger... and as it was christmas a sled so that they could be arranged in a winter landscape. And no Calvin and Hobbes without a ghetoblaster
