To celebrate the re-launch of the TV series Thunderbirds I decided to create this model of Thunderbird 1. The build consists of 1330 bricks standing approximately 70 bricks high and 22 bricks wide with wings closed.
As you'll see in the pictures I have made it fully functional with landing gear, folding wings and cockpit to make playability more realistic. I used to love watching Thunderbirds as a kid and the idea of being able to make a Lego model back then would of been fantastic. I thing their is a big gap in the Lego market for space stuff based on TV shows and films that millions of people love to watch and want to be part of.
