Hi everyone, my name is Luca, i’m italian and i’ve always been passionate about the lego world.I'm a big fan of British band named Coldplay, so i decided to create a tribute for one of their albums, X&Y.
In this album there is my favorite song of this band, FIX YOU, you will find the video below.
- A short story of the band
Coldplay are a British rock band formed in London in 1996. They consist of vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey. They met at University College London and began playing music together from 1996 to 1998, first calling themselves Pectoralz and then Starfish.
With 100 million albums sold worldwide, Coldplay are the most successful band of the 21st century and one of the best-selling music acts of all time.In spite of their popularity and impact, Coldplay have earned a reputation as polarizing music icons.
- Some general information about the set
The set is made up of around 1750 pieces, there are 4 minifigures of the band members
The construction was created with the use of the Stud.io program and Part Designer for the creation of tiles and other pieces with customized graphics. I’ve always been a graphics enthusiast and a decent designer. I really like this process which also gives a lot of space to the imagination.
- Why it could become a LEGO IDEAS set?
I think it would be a great set for Coldplay fans and would honour the long time of the band's work .
