One World Trade Center is the tallest tower in New York, North America, and the western hemisphere of the globe. It has a symbolic height of 1,776 ft. to the tip of the spire. It's architecture is unique featuring eight isosceles triangles. The skyscraper, like most of the architecture in Manhattan is built on a layer of bedrock. The inside consists of state of the art technology, making it one of the most technologically advanced towers in the world. After the original World Trade Center was destroyed in 2001, there was talk of a new complex. There were contests to design the new towers and finally, David Childs from Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill(the architecture firm that designed famous skyscrapers like the Burk Khalifa, Dubai, UAE and the Willis Tower, Chicago, IL, USA). In 2014, 1WTC opened its doors for its tenants and observatory (One World Observatory. I hope to accomplish great things with this idea like One World Trade Center has itself.
