What is a train turntable used for?
A train turntable is a facility that provides the possibility for railway equipment, such as locomotives or wagons, to change tracks or turn around in a confined space. It consists of a circular pit with a turning bridge inside, which can be connected to multiple tracks.
In this project, the turntable can rotate 360° along with a locomotive. It is made up of three standard rails, and this turntable is motorized.
I hope this project will have the opportunity to become a genuine decorative piece, enhancing any train collection.
My project includes my own original work! The model is composed of 1841 pieces.
