making "together" :
a [4x4]-[3x3]-[4x4]-[3x3]-[4x4]-[3x3]-[4x4] "Chessboard".
This "Double-Chessboard" is Like a three(3) Dimensional "Chessboard" with [Cubes]
BUT it is with Trancated-Octahedrons .
The two(2) "Basic" chesspieces You have, are :
(1) First the "3D-Rook" which plays (alone)
or inside the [3x3x3]-Chessboard,
or inside the [4x4x4]-Chessboard.
the "3D-Rook" pawns are the "white" and the "light-grey".
(2) Second the "3D-Corner" which plays to the eight[8] <Corners> of a [Cube]
moving from the [3x3x3]-Board to the [4x4x4]-Board
and back from the [4x4x4]-Board to the [3x3x3]-Board
the "3D-Corner"pawns are the "black" and the "dark-grey".
Note that a "Three(3) Dimensional" Chessboard
has four(4) Colors for the "3D-Corner"pawns
which play "always" in the "same" Color of the Chessboard.
BUT you can play the "Chesspieces" :
(1) Like "normal" chesspieces.
or
(2) Like "evolvable" chesspieces.
by simple putting the "one-chesspiece' on top of the "other-chesspiece.
and "move" them "together" as one chesspiece.
This three(3) Dimensional Chessboard with Truncated-Octahedrons
is another way to play 3D-CHESS.
and with "Chess-pieces" made with "LEGO-Bricks"
( which have a similar "Form" Like Truncated-Octahedrons )
You "transform" them to "evolvable" chesspieces during the Game.
( only with "LEGO-Bricks" You can make "evolvable" chesspieces ).
